Water and moisture in your compressed air will contaminate your media. Wet abrasive reduces the media flow, which in turn will require more abrasive and increase labour. Damp compressed air will also cause "flash rusting" and lead to poor adherence to painting and coatings. Over time, moist abrasive will adhere to the internal components of the blaster and clog the internal parts, which can lead to significant production downtime. Finally, moisture will damage blast machine valves and controls.
